Die Sonate für englisch Horn/Oboe und Klavier ist in zwei Sätze: in dem erste Satz “Lento„ und sehr archaisch spielt das englisch Horn das wechselt in Oboe für den letzte Satz, “Veloce„. Das Thema der zweite Satz ist sehr rhythmisch. Der Oboe mit eine melodische Celle von absteigende Sechszehntel macht ein Dialog mit dem Klavier. Phrygische Thema mit eine lebendige rhythmische Prägnanz!

La Sonata per corno inglese/oboe e pianoforte è in due movimenti. Il movimento Lento è affidato alla voce piu’ scura del corno inglese e l’Allegro all’oboe. La sonata comincia con un lento dal carattere arabeggiante. Il canto del corno inglese viene imitato dal pianoforte che risponde dialogando con lo strumento solista. Un’ottava al pianoforte chiude il lento e introduce-“attaca”-l’ultimo movimento “Allegro”. L’Allegro si apre in un’atmosfera sonora nebulosa e concitata. Qui e’ la voce dell’oboe a cantare la melodia mentre il pianoforte accompagna con il suo fiume impetuoso di sedicesimi creando, con le sue diverse armonie, colori e atmosfere. La Sonata e' piena di contrasti impetuosi e lirica poesia dal gusto arabo.
The Sonata for english horn/oboe and piano is in two movements: Lento-Veloce. The english horn plays in the first mov. which ends with an octave on the piano that “attacca” the “Veloce” and the english horn changes in oboe. The theme of the “Veloce” is characterized from a strong rhythmyc incisivity. It appears the first time in the oboe in E min. frigio while the piano plays different chords in sixteenths creating an always changing colors effects. Different motives appears now at the oboe then at the piano in a costant dialog. The frigian theme with its strong rythmicity is asserted in unisono from both instruments ending the piece with a sf ff on the last note!
La Sonate pour cor anglais/ob.et piano. Elle contient 2 mouvements: do le 1 mut «Lento» le cor anglais joue le que ds le 2 et dernier mut est tres rythmique. L’element melodique fait de double croches descendant au hautbois sera responde au piano. Puis theme emerge du piano en solb Maj.
